| Mod with mad UPS!!! Join Date: May 2006 | Extremely smooth - but I find my hand does not slip. Not sure what it would feel like with gloves and paint spray all over it - I will review that this weekend. TF

| play to kill | I would think it is wrapped carbon tubing cut to length just on a bandsaw with a very fine tooth blade, that would be why you have a seam and the little chips of the top coat of epoxy/clear coat. Barrel's dont have a seam because (due to personal knowledge of building carbon boats and masts parts etc) I would assume they made by weaving indivudial threads around a mandrel. It's how really nice masts are made, such as those by ted van dusen. It would be logical to make pump kits from wrapped tubbing, like a lot of kayak paddle shafts, because it is cheaper than a madrel spun tube. Good review by the way, not my bag as I like a muzzle heavy piece but cool looking.
