Hey TF, looks good; although I believe the review refers to it at one point (the second header) as the Economy kit, unless I am confused.

In the materials section you also list the pump guide rod as raw aluminum, even though it's anodized.

Great review by the way.

I will fix these - I used the economy kit review as a template - forgot some things.

EDIT:

Done!

Did the pump kit have relief machined into the pump rod initially that simply was not long enough, or was there none at all?

Its hard to tell because the photos that are in the beginning of the review show the relief so i dont know if there was some there initially or not.

If there was some, I would assume you could avoid having to make more clearance by simply adjusting how far you thread the pump rod into the back block?

I would consider moving the how to install to either the bottom of the review or making it a link just like the "prepping your cocker for a pump kit" page.

Good review.

I will take another picture with a cocking rod. It wasn't that it wasn't long enough - the Vendetta Pump Rod had too much width. If you check the one picture where you can clearly see rub - it is because I moved the mounting bracket to a portion of the rod that was not machined away.

So there was a machined away portion that simply did not line up with where your pump kit was set up on your gun..and it wouldnt matter how you positioned the front block?

Bummer to hear that. Surprised its never been mentioned.

Let me state it another way:

The pump arm rubbed on the mounting bracket of the pump kit no matter how I adjusted it. For both the 99 deluxe kit and the 2K+.

I machined away part of the pump arm and it is buttery.

Sorry to misunderstand. I enjoy these reviews.

To clarify, did it have some milling on the pump arm that was supposed to keep the thing from rubbing, or none at all?

None. It was a straight rod... that rubbed on the mounting bracket... A LOT.
