Thumbs down paintball-online.com... Very disappointed

I just received a Stainless Steel Freak Insert Kit that was very poorly packaged and resulted in damaged product. The only packing material in the box consisted of a single sheet of crumpled butcher paper that did nothing the fill the empty space in the box resulting in the case bouncing around and dislodging the inserts from their holders. (btw, is there supposed to be some sort of factory packaging around the case?). The inserts were of course dinged; though minor I expect perfect product after paying full price.

I'll call tomorrow to see what they do about it.

If you bought a complete kit, it should have come in a plastic case with foam cutout packing.

Otherwise thats it.

To clarify, I meant factory packaging around the case itself such as shrink wrap or cardboard.

Sorry for what happened but for what it's worth, I learned a long time ago to stay away from web sites with URL's like that. The best book store on the web isn't "cheepbooks.com" and the best search engine isn't "search.com".

No there is no plastic shrink wrapping or anything else like that around the case. (Like I said plastic case and thats it )

seems like the foam padded case alone would've protected them. i'd send it back.

LoudThunder: Ah... I guess I didn't understand your first post correctly. Cheers for the info.

C6: Since it was just the inserts, they fell into the big slots underneath for the freak back and tips and as they jumbled into each other dinged up the crowns.

My mom has given me gift certificates to "Paintball Online" for several years, in various denominations. I've saved up about $200.00 of them with the hope of getting something other than a squeegee. I recently called them and asked about redeeming them. I found a few things out:
1) Even though only 1 of the 8 gift certificates had "expires one year from date of purchase" printed on them, any gift certificate that's a year old or more is rendered invalid, regardless of the state law where you hold them.(Massachusetts has a VERY liberal gift certificate law-3 years)

2) I'm out $150.00

3) Their prices aren't that great.

So, if you get them, don't "save them for something other than a squeegee". Spend them, or use them to subsidize a purchase.

While that is true alot of the time, Paintball-online is also xtremez.com. I know someone who ordered an A5 from them and it was great.
