I believe the rear body milling is standard. I think Earon also likes to flatten out the pump sides as my mini-buzzard came with that as well.

*edit* wait I actually don't know about the rear milling. My mini-buzzard has a stainless steel snub.

I knew the pump handle would have the flats, I honestly didnt expect the body milling but its an added plus. You were right, it was soooooo worth the wait.

that's interesting... on his site when you click the extra milling option the side milling on the rear appears and if you un-click it, it disappears.

Comps are top of the line for Carter guns they get lots of standard milling and rarely have an option for more.

The carter site doesn't have any options for hinge frames, are they only offering the slider now? Which one do you prefer?

I like the slider more, the dye hinge is a close second, it has a more defined break, the mini comp's slider has a very soft trigger break, very smooth clean pull.

Bah, if only I had the money to send this god of machines...

Do you personally know how the trigger and pump rate against a Phantom? Mr. Cassidy has my undying loyalty, but with such a good review and a lucky trip to eBay, I don't see any reason I can't branch out a little.

I'm glad Carter went back to producing the slider frames. I had an old Comp with a slider, and it was awesome. From your description of "very smooth with a soft break", it sounds like the new ones are just like the old ones. They certainly look the same.
