Damn that's a lot of shots! My rear air SC phantom gets like 35-40 in that weather, I didn't think it'd topple that by another tube's worth of paint!

Ya the spacing I think was part of it, I will be playing with it in a heated gym next with reballs so we'll see how she does in a game effiency wise.

Slider frames!

Do me a solid and check the bolt spacing compared to a phantom...

I'm hoping that it's possible to bolt the tray and frame to a phantom and using a Carter hammer/sear. I want a slider trigger with under cocking kit! Maybe that's Carter's next trick... This time around he compiled the best features of the Buzzard and Phantom with the addition of cocker barrel threads (awesome), next time he includes an under cocking kit and check valve!?

Don't have a phantom to compare it to, and what exactly do you mean my bolt spacing? relative to what?

(sorry if I'm asking a seemingly dumb question)

and why would you want to put a phantom body on a carter frame and rail?

I have a question: it's cocker threaded but the pump arm ID needs to match up with the barrel OD to keep the smooth pump does it not?

If you were to put a carbon fiber barrel on or something with a small OD, wouldn't you get a lot side to side slop?

ummm ya, electrical and then teflon tape does the trick

course the end of the barrel needs to be beveled, and you need inserts that thread in because its a breach* drop and the inserts could slide back into the breach. I'm still waiting on a reply from sanchez machine on whether or not they can make more inserts for carter guns

edit, found out from lauren that sanches machine does not make the barrel kits, I was misinformed online earlier.

From the pictures of the bolt I would guess you mean it's a breech drop, like all other carters before it.

I relly like some of the new features, but I don't know why he shortened the snub. I guess if it works then that's great, but longer snub nelsons (with more of the valve body inside the snub) tend to hold together better.
