| Yup, I had a Super Nova | Oregon Scientific ATC2000 Helmet Cam I just had my first day out with this helmet cam and thought I'd give everyone a heads up. I traded an ion for one of these because I thought it would be neat to see things from a first person POV. I got mine upgraded with a 2 GB SD card, I'm not sure what kind of storage they have out of the box. The camera runs off 2 AA batteries and isn't a battery hog, I got an entire card fukk with one set of batteries and thehn had the camera on for another hour or so copying fils onto my pc and letting my buddy mess around with it and the low batt symbol is still not showing up. O.S. claims this is shock resuistant and waterproof and I can confirm. I dropped it down the steps, it took a direct paintball shot, and I intentionally submerged it to test. It's airtight and still works like new. The operation of the camera is great and very simple. There are only 3 buttons and a well detailed instruction manual. I was shooting in the highest quality that looks pretty good raw, obviously I had to compress it to get it under 100MB for youtube in the link below though so you can't really get a grasp on how good thae quality actually is...but I was impressed. On the 2 GB card it'll get roughly 60 minutes of footage. Obviously if you go a bit lower in quality you would get a lot more footage. The sound leaves a bit to be desired, but I expect that from a waterproof mic. All in all I'm pretty impressed with this. It's a self contained unit so there are no wires to recording devices, ect... Weight isn't even noticeable to me, I had it mounted to the side of my Flex 8. It did come stock with some very nice mounting options as well, different straps and clamps for different setups. I used a velcro strap for mine and it was very secure. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to acrhive their playing. Its a nice light setup with decent quality video and you can pick these up relatively cheap($150ish). Here is the first bit I ever recorded, the raw footage was much higher quality but you get the idea and the perspective. My ATC2000 footage on youtube

Yes, I'll get a small clip uncompressed at normal quality uploaded and linked later this weekend if I get the time.

| 1.21 gigawatts! | I never got around to writing up a review on the ATC 2000 but I have been using one for a couple months and love it. I have a couple raw unedited files up on MCBTV under my screen name if anyone wants to check them out.

| On ebay they sell for just under $100, thats where I got mine. And a 2gb card for $15. Another negative about this camera is that it does not do to well in dark areas and it does not have image stabilizer (firing when mounted on marker). |
