I'll be adding one to my vector soon. I don't have a decibel meter either, but I'll try to compare the Noxx loudener to an Intimidator. We'll see which produces the greater "pucker factor"

That was my next question-how it compares with an AA Intimidator. I have a few of those, mounted on a Vector and a couple Rainmakers.

But of course you do

I would also like to know the difference. I think the graduall tapering of the AA Intimidator would have a different pitch than the untapered wide hole of the Noxx Boxx.

Curse your mech rainmaker w/ it's shorty barrel AND loudener!

The pitch of the Noxx Boxx sounded higher to me. Both are very loud, but the Noxx version changes the sound from a "bang" to a loud "Crack!".

I tried to record the sound of the Noxx Boxx, compared to a stock barrel on the computer, but even though it SOUNDED different, it was hard to quantify that difference using Audacity.

Here it is attached to my shortest barrel:

I recieved mine on monday, so I threw it on my traccer and the brown note has made it much louder than just the plain stock barrel, especialy while using the a/t.
