My First Look at Save Phace

So it's in I picked up a Save Phace BC7 it's the one that looks like the Predator mask. Pictures to come if someone wants them I will test it Sunday and do a write up after that.

First impression is that it feels very hard this is not a mask for you if you are looking to get a ball to hit your mask and not break. The "Super cool" graphics do not seem to be on the mask it's self it's some kind of graphic sticker not sure on the material. That being said it looks good.

Weight of the mask is about 13 5/8oz

It is "cropped" very close to the jaw line, maybe even leaving some of the rear of your jaw (back by your ears) unprotected

The RWI foam feels very nice, soft lots of small pours
The high guard for your forhead is removable via 4 screws and can be replaced with a visor that comes with the mask
The band can be removed and replaced.

Not much else to say until I'm one the field with it I don't think.

When you get a chance. I'd just really like to see the actual product instead of the manufacturer's web pictures.

A few of the mask to get a general Idea
Some of the inside to come still

One note is that there seems to be almost as much ventilation over the mouth section as my old scott so I don't think that air flow will be a problem as far as breathing goes. Also I will have this at Castle for anyone that wants to check it out

Cool!
Thanks for the pictures up here! That looks like it fits better than I thought they would at first glance. So the ventilation is decent?
How's the space in the goggle area for glasses?

Pretty cool looking. Is it like a shrink wrap type of graphic application rather than paint? Seems like that would be easy and durable for a hard mask like that.

I'll get a better Idea of ventilation Sunday when I take it to the field.

Glasses, I don't' wear them and the wife has her's with her however I took a pair of those fake Oakley's but them on under the mask and I had room enough to push them forward off my nose a little

I tried one on at World Cup. They're very comfortable and fit well but I wouldn't trade my Grills for one. If you want a hard mask they're probably a good choice but I found the hard plastic cumbersome even though it is very close to your face. The mask gets pushed around by your shoulders and chest if you turn your head to the side or look straight down. I didn't like that.
