I didn't use a pod lid, I made a speed feed that worked quite well out of the lid of a diablo 200 count paintball container (the ones you get from sports authority).

I keep four or five of those little gems in my bag all the time. Nothing better for low profile pump play. I need to find or modify some of my feed tubes now so I don't haul a bunch of 150 round tubes out to feed my little 50 round hoppers.

Butcher.

You can use the same method for pods that you did for the lid. put 40-45 balls in a pod with a glued on lid. Draw a line a little lower than where the tops of the balls are to cut along. If you really want to get a nice fit measure how much of the pod and the top overlap and draw a line that distance below the top of the upper-most balls. I didn't do this and just cut some soft foam circles and glued them to the underside of the lid. Now they don't rattle around and I can put about 45 in before it doesn't want to shut.

I figure I'll put a want ad in the WTB section for old 100 round pods like the old indian springs pods so I can pull off the cap and ring, cut to size, then put the cap/ring back on. Right now I've got two 150 round tubes and one 100 round tube. Seems a bit of a waste to cut 400 rounds worth of tubes down to 150, but I will if I can't find some shorties.

You'd be surprised what the aggletts leave at the field. If a pod gets stepped on it's considered trash and gets tossed. Before I was into pump i remember seeing lots of them out there...should have saved them from the desert sun.

As I said before, I love the things. But I use my VL200 in favor of them. Its just nice to use 1 full hopper for several games without reloading, and they feed very well, and their lids work great. Whats more to ask.

I like the profile the winchester gives the marker. It just looks cool in my opinion. Also my absolute favorite is when somebody comes up to me and asks 'You're going to use THAT? You're gonna be toast.'

great hopper, but I dont like how it sits really high on my gun. I ended up cutting mine real short, and puting a dye lock lid pod for a lid. Works excellent now.

Sitting really high compared to what? Proportionately it looks high because it has the same ball stack as a 200 round viewloader, but it does not sit any higher than any other hopper.

50 rounders definitely look great. Cant argue with that.
