They hold up well, and feed quite decently for a small graviety hopper. I highly recommend them.

They require a new hopper lid right off the bat though, as the stock ones are a poor design

Mine got a dent in the front end from a dead-on shot...but it didn't break like the little p.o.s. brass eagle... I threw some hockey tape around it for extra protection. Throw a pod lid (flip, or DYe lock-lid) on it and you will be a happy guy... may require the occasional shake...

Mine dented the same way as that last guy. Doesn't affect it at all.

The stock snap-on lid sucks as has been mentioned. I've had them shot off before.

The pod flip lid is the way to go. You can glue it on or wrap electric tape around it.

I have nothing to add - except verfication to what has already been said. Fix the lid and they're a great little loader.

Don't over-fill them, they'll jam like crazy on you - but that's true of any gravity feed loader.

I played a game today with my first winchester. Didn't have it jam at all and I did the flip lid with an app lid, works like a charm. I think this little hopper actually feeds better then my vl200.

I've been using one for years with no problems.

I dont know about the current ones but the ones I got had deformed feed necks that neded to be dremeled out.
I just made thick ducktape hinges for my factory lids.

I think they all still come with a tight neck you need to open a little... sandpaper or a dremel works great.

I slapped a 32* pod lid on mine, and it's great, so is the one I revi'd... that one never jams!

Besides the cap mod and sanding out the inside of the feedneck, there is one other thing that helps this hopper, duct tape the front. The front is a little too easy to hit and kill all the balls in the hopper but I fixed that on mine. I rolled up a little duct tape and taped it to the front, building it up a little. That and plastidip are your friend for this hopper.
