I saw that comment and was wondering if he was speaking of the Redux (just calling it a Duck for short) or the Carter Duck...

By the way, you Carter Duck owners, any problems feeding balls?

It was indeed a Redux. I was just shortening it to duck.

I would like to add the the extended foregrip makes it much easier to pump "cocker" style with index finger up front wrapped around the lower front. Its more of a pulling motion rather than a pump. If you use this style w/o it you might shoot your index finger tip. Unless of course you have an extended barrel Muhaha!

New Redux is now 1000$ so Carter at 2k is looking like it is not completely insane. If only I had money. I think if Mongo ever gets the slam changer version out I will buy one regardless of the cost, I must own it....I must!

Slam Redux

I will have 10 slam gripframes done this year- they are pricey (same price as Earon's) and will only be sold to Redux purchaser. It will also be sold only to those who agree to be safe, and mindful of the risk in having this accessory.. I will attach a waiver to be signed and returned to VKC before shipment.
I have seen far too many "nonaccidental" CO2 ejections among "friends"...... at close range- it could be dangerous, no?

I've almost hit someone on accident while trying to wrestle open a slam changer on a non-functioning duck. I'd love to see a two stage design, maybe a trapdoor to secure the 12 gram and a half turn of a knob to puncture it. None the less, they are cool and I sure want one.

12 grams really don't have that much pushing power - at least, when I've played with my KP as a "mortar," the cartridges tend to just buzz around rather than shoot violently. There's a limit as to how fast the liquid can convert to gas and escape the small punctured hole.
