| My first look at SavePhace Let me start by saying, YES... I am a sponsored player by Save Phace... But this post WILL include any and all pros AND cons of my SP mask. Pics will be uploaded asap as well. The mask I purchased was the So Phat Series (with the predator graphic) I believe the item number is BC7 (if you'd like to see EXACTLY which mask package I got) It came within 5 days of being notified that they ARE shipping (I pre-ordered this mask, so I knew it would take a little while) shipped via UPS in a nice display box. I opened the box to find the mask, and I feel its a very cool looking mask... so I try it on. WOW its tiny... I feel as if im wearing hard 1st run invisions... but the biggest issue for me so far, was the head guard, so that had to go. I broke down the entire mask, the lense system is a very safe way about doing it (very much like the Grill lense system), but I felt that the clips/lense compatibility was a bit off. When I snapped the clips back into the lense, it sounded as if something cracked because it was so tight. they include a small screw driver, which I had NO CLUE what it was for at first... until I wanted to pull off the head guard, where i noticed... its screwed into the mask. the screw driver is way to small to be of any real use, and one of the screws was cross threaded, making it take about 20 mins to get the head guard off (the visor that comes with it attaches the same way) thats 2 problems so far, and I didn't even get to play in this yet. Now, I've been wearing it for a bit now, and im typing this as im wearing it. One thing I notice, is that if you wear it like a normal mask, it exposes A LOT. But, if you wear it as SavePhace tells you to, it protects most of those areas, but it feels like its causing too much pressure on my nose (making it heard to breathe though my nose) The shape of the mask is different as well, the jaw line actually swoops inward a bit than out to the chin. So if you have chubby cheeks, there may be an issue with it there. The graphics are cool, but something about them doesn't seem "finished" for lack of a better word. From 5 feet or so away, they look great, but get up close, and there are parts that seem as if they were cut out of a template and scanned, so everything doesnt line up (graphic to mask wise) like they should. the strap, would've been nice if they had the silicone injected straps. no big deal though. the post below will have pictures also ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| I chose to do the different angles, so everyone can see as much as possible for EVERY mask that i had currently within my reach. On the up angle shots, i chose NOT to use the ER X-ray, i didnt feel the need to have to use shots for that mask in that position. ********** CLICK EACH PICTURE FOR A SLIDE SHOW OF ALL THE MASKS ************** Frontal view ![]() Angle view ![]() Right side (looking left) ![]() Left side (looking right) ![]() Angle up (right side) ![]() Angle up (left side) ![]() Head down (chin tucked towards chest, for a forehead comparison) ![]()

| Playing Review : Date played with : July 13th Where: Skirmish I.O.N. 2008 So, I get to skirmish, and bring a bunch of masks to hand out as loaners if needed, and to use whatever is comfy (grillz and proflexes) and the save phace mask... I place it on, walk out to the field to play, and i had to turn around and walk back to the car and trade them for a different mask... I couldnt breathe correctly in this mask due to it being restrictive on my nasal passage, which caused me to breathe through my mouth (for those that dont know, this causes condensation in the mask) The foam kept coming off anytime anyone tried it on the mask did NOT cover most people who tried it on (it only properly covered the younger kids who were with our group) so now, i feel as if i wasted $$$ on a mask that i will NEVER wear again due to it just not being comfy and feeling "cheap" for lack of a better word... I WILL try out their next version... but this one will take a place on my wall of unused gear. *for this review, I got sent a PM from Jerry, CEO of SavePhace, asking for me to call him so we can "discuss" what i did wrong by posting an honest review*

| Well it is an honest review as these same problems or quirks seem to be reported by many users.

![]() Screw that guy. I remember his press releases were all leetspeak for the kids. IMO, tell him to take his sponsorship and stuff it. I would never be sponsored by a company with crap products, or a leetspeaking CEO either. | |

| Delving into Satinism | Hey Noely- What was the outcome of the message from the SavePhase CEO? Thank you for your honest review at any rate. You most likely saved some folks their hard earned cash on a necessary piece of paintball safety equipment which came out lacking in the performance category. SavePhase folks, maybe you should take to heart the performance flaws of your masks. Yes, I'm yet to experience one first hand, as Sportsman's Warehouse in Fairbanks doesn't seem to have any on hand; however, I'm not exactly motivated to try and get my hands on one after reading about some reviews.

| www.yankeepaintball.com | I'm interested to see how this turns out. I wonder if they'll take constructive unbiased critisism or pull an ostrich and say it's user error. Harb while I detest leet as much as anyone it seems like they are just marketing to their target audience. If the mask is small maybe it's the perfect thing for the kiddies. I have had difficulty getting young adults correctly into my rental masks. Tug
