Polishing by LK-13

I recently sent two SS mag bodies off to LK-13 to have him polish them. Both were fairly ugly. One being an old beadblasted rental body that I had had milled for a pump, and the other an old "smokestack" center feed that had sat in the back of a shop for it's entire life.
I can't find the 'before' pictures, but will update if I do find them.

Here are some 'after' pictures.

Two more with a little flatter contrast:

The polishing is very well done, there is no area that was missed, even the seams around the feedneck and the welded on bodyscrew mounting point are incredibly shiny, LK-13 even went so far as to polish the bores!

The completely polished bodies are incredible. They look better than a very nice chrome piece. Really the only thing that I can complain about is that it is almost impossible to take a picture of them due to the reflections .

I'd highly recommend LK-13 if you need any item polished!

Not far off, lol. If it wasn't going on my pump mag (which I have given up on trying to make quiet), I'd feel pretty conspicuous taking it out on the field.

After putting the body back on my marker, I found another "issue", now my valve looks crappy!

i can polish the valve too.
and your rail...
might loose the on/off graphic on the bottom though... not sure if the laser etching would survive the process.

you should see what i can do with Brass or Aluminum!

just ask RATZO, he has seen my Piranha LB work in Progress.

That Pirahna LB is gorgeous.
I was never a big fan of polished brass from the pictures I've seen online, but holding LK-13's Pirahna has changed my mind.

Now hurry up and finish my MiniMag body.

Damn! That is nice.... Makes me want to polish up my all nickle and aluminum Automag... Hmmmmmm... not worth the shipping, and I gave my Dremel tool away a couple of years ago to Tallen702... perhaps I will work on it at Curt's house over POG weekend.

When Dirtnap stripped and polished the T8 I sold him, the laser etching still stuck around. Just an FYI...
