Every macdev spoolie ever made has a cold weather problem.

Nice guns, but that's a terrible problem to have!

Actually, my Droid and every other one on our team works perfectly in the cold and has for years. I was using it this winter in 15 degree temperatures with no issues whatsoever. Just use only Militialube and don't overdo it. That is why I was surprised with the Drone wouldn't work. Macdev is telling us it is a problem with how the solenoid attaches to the subplate on the drone, and are working on a solution.

I live in New Hampshire and never had a problem with my droid or my cyborg RX in cold weather. I have even used them in snowball games so maybe something with your marker specifically.

I wouldn't count on any Macdev options for the Drone any time soon. Their big seller is the Clone right now, and production can't keep up with demand as it is. They machine everything in their own facility, not farmed out to Asia. The Clone trigger frame is the same as the Drone, so they may want to keep it that way for simplicity. But then again, that is just me guessing.
