What was it supposed to do or what does it acutally do?

It was supposed to add distance to your shots, lower the operating pressure, help the gun recharge faster......

The stuff we sell is just the best
Passing all consumer test
Days of heaven nights of sin
Voodoo stick and sharks fin
When all around you seems like hell
Just one sip will make you well
Multipurpose in a jar
If you ain`t ill it`ll fix your car
In days of yore for all bad feelings
Washing socks and stripping ceilings
Nowadays its used medicinally
For all known human malady

....you get the point! As a good I believe Danny Love mounted one on the side of a cocker and put 3 or 4 small ball bearings in it and refused to tell anyone what it was. Just a rumour

It was a gimmick aftermarket 'upgrade' put out by SP. Like he said, it's the history that's worth it.

edit: and Hammersmith beat me to it, in great style I might add

nothing really. It was a marketing scheme by SP. It a very cool and unique piece of history though.

The funny part is that the actual box doesn't even hold the air. Only the small tube that is sticking out of the chamber does.

And it may have just been me, but I think that my Smart Mag shot a little smoother.
