| Nerd | For Sale: Tippmann 98C & PPS Typhoon For sale: a Tippmann 98 Custom. This was a project gun I completed a few years ago, used for a while, but haven’t really brought on the field in the last two years or so. Features include milled and painted receivers (not my work, I couldn’t have done it as nice as it was done), quick strip cut, polished internals, lightened trigger spring, double trigger shaved in the middle, lightened trigger spring, stainless steel screws, grips cut for double trigger guard, RVA, titanium hammer (lighter version), and a homemade low pressure setup: lightened valve spring, low pressure chamber, and PPS inline stabilizer. Also comes with a 14” stiffi. It’s pretty efficient, and the trigger pull is very short and light for a mech. Like I said, it hasn’t seen the field in a while, but I just cleaned the insides, gassed it up, and took a few dry shots, no leaks, everything’s in working order. I’d like $200 for it, but despite all the work, it’s still a Tippmann 98, so feel free to hit me with an offer. Of course, the important part: Also for sale: PPS Typhoon. I have two, which I can’t really justify, especially since I haven’t been playing much this year, so this one is on the chopping block. It has red accents and a matching red male Stabilizer, a nickel plated frame, nickel plated sight hood, black bottomline mount, and barrel porting, in addition to all the standard features from Palmers. Looks great, shoots great. I’m in no hurry to let this out the door, so I’m asking $590 firm. The best way to get a hold of me is through PM’s. Paypal is preferred, but money orders are also OK. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for looking. Last edited by Diomedes; 07-06-2008 at 06:12 PM. |
