Stuffy used it to build a straight rifled KP2. Maybe I should ask him to post his thoughts.

I was planning to make some Nova barrels using it. I haven't gotten there, yet.

Really! That's actuly really cool.

Yes, info on what Stuffy did would be awsome. I want to know if it was worth it and how it worked, right guys.

The reeded tube KP is a partial success. Unfortunately, the tube is narrow enough that it sometimes causes pant to break. Stuffy and I will need to acquire a Flex Hone to change the ID a little before the tube is usable.

One last bit of bad news... It seems my prices will have to go up a little after the new year, as my costs for the tubing have gone up. Sorry all. I have been putting this off for a while now, but it looks like I have no choice this time.

I will update this thread with any new changes.

The company I have contacted about smaller ID tubing has explained they can not get me a quote until next week or after Christmas. So, if we are lucky, I might have a run of small ID (.681") tubing in mid-January.

Ok...

I have received the quote a little early, but the news is bad. The price per foot will be $144 per foot for 0.8125 OD x 0.682 ID +/-.003!

Needless to say, I doubt I will be carrying that variety of tube anytime in the near future. Sorry all.

Yeah... $144 a foot. At first I thought I was buying gold, but it turns out that is the correct price.

Truly custom barrel stock is NOT cheap.

Maybe I will go back to looking into drawing my own. It may be cheaper and I can hold a tighter tolerance.

The company made a small error in their quote. The corrected price is $87 per foot. Still too high, in my opinion, but if people are really interested, I will make the investment.
