TY,
will the solder on direct feeds be of enough thickness to accept threading for a clamping feed neck? Like a CCM Angel neck for example? I have a mag with the feed neck broken off that I would like to convert to a center feed if I could get a threaded adapter.

I think that there will not be enough meat to make those threads. I will look up the thread specifications tomorrow, and post again here.

I have plenty of each in stock. The faster folks buy it, the faster I will restock it. I have every intention of keeping these items in stock, so long as they continue selling.

The Angel feed neck thread is M21 x 0.75 (~0.827 major diameter with a pitch of ~33.8 TPI... Do NOT use this information for attempting to make the threads. They will turn out wrong! This is only for those of us that can't think in metric!)

Based on the previous information, I believe that putting these threads into the feed tube stock I have would be a poor engineering choice, as the remaining metal would not be strong enough to support the hopper.

There is a possibility that you could create a clamping feedneck from brass, but you would need to do some very high quality silver soldering work to make sure it remains attached to the barrel.

The 13/16-28 tap has arrived.

The PGP, CO2 plug and tap on the bandsaw's table.

I tested it out by chasing the threads on a PGP.

Cutting threads into a length of valve tubing.

Finished threads!

Finished threads with a Sheridan CO2 plug threaded into them.

I will be offering this service at $20 per threaded end.
