its has a lightened and shortened pull via use of different springs, i will include 2-3 wave springs (1 standard and all of my shim ended l series wave springs which are lighter to compress)

in front of the handle is a spring that makes the pull shorter and keeps the handle from hitting the post on the return which silences the release of the handle
