guys, pretty sure this is a invert mini/axe clone, witch are not spool valves but they are inline pop-it valves. a verry common mistake to compare a spool to a inline pop but completely different systems. but it being a mini/axe clone has me excited to compare it to an axe witch it looks more closely to being longer then the mini.

It is no type of clone. It is a spool valve style gun. | |

Mokal is not the type of company to just copy another design and pass it off as their own. I trust that if the data says it's a spoolie, then it's a spoolie. 'Nuff said.

I think people just want to bash it (same as they did with the original Aura) because it is not a "high-end" electro and is "just another blow back" (in the case of the original) or "an SLG clone" (in the case of the new). It looks great and if I actually shot electros I would probably pick one up. |

i just found a disasembled picture of it, and yeah ur right it is a spoolie however all the board components are exactly like a mini, its allmost liek they took the axe body and turned it into a spoolie. so it can go either way.

I have a Mokal Aura and the board is nothing like the Mini/axe, Except in the fact that the main board is in foregrip and the Eye board is above the frame. The battery is in the grip along with the reg. it has an on/off asa. the main board is fully programmable from the outside. Besides having no hose, which seems to be a current trend with a lot of company's(Dlx,Bob long,SP), the Aura is not trying to copy the mini/Axe in any way. also the Aura has been in development long before the Axe. |

I know and it kills me not to, but I have the proto type. using feedback from us and a few others he did some major changes to the gun. Although it shoots awesome, a video wouldn't be doing it justice because of the changes made. New bolt design, new programing, and a few other upgrades are to be incorporated in the production run. We should be hearing from him shortly that they are ready to roll. |
