I.C.E. Epic DV8; pictures, video, review

I was finally, after years of patience, able to get my hands on a marker I have been hunting for. I have seen them come up for sale from time to time, but could either not afford or was too late. Thanks to the existence of MCB, my dreams have come true. Not only is it in great shape, the previous owner modified the feedneck so a lower-rise clamping neck could be used. Also came with sized trap doors (still in packaging), spare parts, and the owners manual. I decided to also invest in a good barrel for this, so grabbed a 14" Deadly Wind carbon fiber and have been using a .682 insert. Most the paint in my area is .682-.684 so this seems to work best. I might try a .679 at some point, but may be too much of an under bore which = breaks.
The trigger is very snappy, every thing is light and crisp. Very easy and comfortable to shoot. I was a bit weary of the off set vertical feed, having preference for vertical feed only markers, but it honestly does not bother me. Very little kick at all, super easy to control. And the marker itself is very small and light weight. Very happy with his purchase, and I doubt I will ever sell it.

Glad it went to a great home! PS This gun shoots best with a non-ported barrel with a loudener. And by best I mean it is as loud and sounds like you're shooting a .22 rifle scares the crap out of people near you.

So I have heard! What non-ported barrel would you recommend?

I used the flasc barrels because of the threaded tip and good range of bore sizes. You can get ported extensions and apex tips for the barrels too.

Ha!

They're also on my list, but I have the same problem as you--either I'm short on cash or they're gone. Nice one that you've got there.
