Sterling problem. Any one?

Hello,
Buddy of mine has a strerling he got from some one and its great but the feed tube came out. How are the feed tubes fastened in?

Does any one know?

Press fit, I assume. Stuff it back in with a hint of JB Weld near the seam; make sure to line it up quite well so the bolt doesn't jam.

Newer Sterlings use a set screw, I believe.

Thank you. that was my guess, but I thought it would be a good idea to see if some one else knew anything about it.
