Yeah it works like a charm on the 98... even makes the bark of the old flatline barrel to barely a whisper.I used it all the time because people got a kick out of it. Even funnier was when I put one on my nova for grins and giggles and everybody thought I was running dual silencers...

This sucker's electrical, but I need a nuclear
reaction to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity I need.

Yeah, RAP4 apparently has bad customer service when it comes to these. I don't know what I'd do in their situation - the guns that went out were just designed wrong, period.

The guns are manufactured by our friends Qian Wei over in China, even has their logo stamped into the outer receiver.

Here is my raincovered Trracer complete with hose clamp mounting Ugly but functional. Usually is my scenario night gun, running with a 10 round stuck and the feed and a rat tail 12 gram changer. The RC is heavy as the gun! It consists of a thinwall 3/4" pvc tube, slotted with a tablesaw. As far as wadding, I find toilet paper to work exceedingly well. It has screen wrapped around the center tube to prevent any TP hanging into the barrel. And yes, it is very effective!

That looks great. My homemade covers haven't been as nice - I always pick up wall material that is too thick and end up with a tiny little expansion area inside. Anyone try baffling?

A very old picture of my Walmart raincover:

In lawn&garden, they sell a chrome lawnmower muffler, with 1" threads, and a .75" inside.
It was pretty much "bolt on". I still have it floating around, but these days I'm more interesting in being loud....

Here are some of my Muzzle break raincovers.

The one on the left is a standard 1"
The second one was sold for the muzzlebreak of a 98 flatline, thats why it has a longer attachment section, but its perfect for going over the Armson muzzle break on my Bushmaster pump.
The third is 7/8
The fourth is for Sheridan brass, it even has a slot cut for the front site.
The fifth is a Taso that was broken so I cut off the ends and slid them over the porting on a Smart Parts All American, wraped some padding and slid the outer shell back on.
The ones on top are spares 1" and 7/8
