| F1 Illustrator question I picked up a couple of F1s. One has a leak between the ASA and the body.  According to FAST, this leak was a "gun replacement". I was able to remove the black goo and get the bolt out of the ASA with no problem but the bugger still won't come off. I'm guessing theres some more "goo" underneath holding it on. Has anyone successfully been able to remove one?

| Sorry I can't be of any help, but I'd love to see some pics if you do get it off. I've been obsessed with these guns since I had my first one back in '91. I always assumed they were held on with something more sturdy than "Goo". -MR

| I got it off..  I have 2 like this and will go through a fix on one tonight. If I pull it off I plan to document the process and will put it up somewhere....
