Not a good pic, but directly behind the FPS screw is a pin that secures the valve in place. In prevents the situation where play between the forward and rear receiver allows the valve to slide forward, and dump out the co2.

That said, the welded feed, and colored valves might imply that this was a 1992-era grey-Z, modified. That was the time period when the FL Terminators were using Montneel guns.

Sorry, I should have given a better description of the gun.
Yes, it is a polished grey Z front and rear body on sandwiched between a long custom fabricated frame and sight.
The front of the body has that block attached to the front and the back where the asa would have been was chopped off (not to make it sound sloppy though) and the asa hole is plugged.
The barrel is an Armson with a muzzle brake.

Also, the blue Z clonesque maker I posted is the Falcon and if you haven't read Nick's writeup on it I would suggest checking out the following link:

Wow....I am really wanting my Z back, I got my Z from Moe and played my first Tourney with that gun, S/N 995. I met him at Lair/AdventureWorld/EMR Not sure what it was at that point, but the Highlanders where smoking us, and I had to have a Z.
