Join Date: Dec 2006 | Lemon-Aid Guide to Used Cars and Trucks ![]() Lemon-Aid Used Cars and Trucks 2012-2013 (Lemon Aid Used Cars and Trucks): Phil Edmonston: Amazon.com: Kindle Store Well well! It used to be only Canadians had access to the outstanding "Lemon-aid" guides. These are thick paperback books reviewing the reliability of used automobiles. It seems they're now available via Amazon.com in Kindle or paper versions to those of you in the USA. I've used these twice to buy used cars and they've never steered me wrong. The stats on reliability are based on recalls, defect reports - general maintenance history on all makes and models. There are a couple of great sections near the back called: "Beaters you will love" and "Beaters you will hate" that will help you find a beaters worth buying and avoid the bad ones.
