| I Am The Admin | A safe for your guns and all that money your saving...
I've been on the hunt for one for a while now. I wanted a nicer one that was more than just sheet steel, but also one that couldn't be easily carried off. Big enough for my guns, and room for my documents, and some old jewelry that was left for my daughter one day. I finally came across this: Cannon Safe CS24 Executive Safe I thought it was a great safe for the price. Has the ability to be bolted down for extra security too. Anyhow, I broke down and ordered it ~ $577 for non-costco members, still free shipping. $150 off now until 2/24 when the sale ends. I'll post a report once I get it.

I wonder how many actual long guns it will hold? Some safes are advertised with a certain gun capacity that is hard to do in reality.

Hopefully I'll see this safe by the end of the month. After this snow storm I don't need it any time soon. Won't be able to get it where I need too with all the snow in the way. I'll post up some photos and a review of it.

Out of stock, but looks like a nice solid safe. I'll check back when you get it in as Amber & I are on the hunt for a larger one too.

By the time you fill them up with ammo and long guns, bolting them down seems a bit odd since the culprits will have to plan way ahead anyway. I had to study my house before putting mine upstairs. If anyone tries to take mine unopened, I will pull up to my house and see a large hole in the wall where it slid down the stair case. I would find it a little funny, since mine is mainly about safety and not value. When you consider the size of large gun safe, building one into your house doesn't seem like a bad idea.

I doubt you could find a used dynamite safe? We have on at the ski and you need a loader to move it and you are not just going to pry it open. Looks like this one a bit? About 5 feet high.
