aaron lewis is amazing...i actually like his version of "sober" better but on another note maynard is extremely talented in his own right with the ranges he has done.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-DkkbRXeOQ

and one of my other favorites is Corey Taylor cant believe someone who can scream so amazingly well and actually sing this well too

lately he has really been blurring the lines between the two bands. Slipknot has done some softer stuff where as some stone sour stuff has become hard.

I really enjoy Chris Cornell's (His Audioslave stuff mostly) vocals, as well as Serj Tankians.

That just begs to be sig'ed

Any of the sing and scream metal bands are fronted by underrated vocalists, simply because most people can't get past the yelling. Corey Taylor and Ivan Moody are some of the best, true Jekyl and Hyde vocalists.

Some of my faves:
Soilwork - vocalist: Björn "Speed" Strid

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcXVnyiQjBE?fs

Trivium

and something a little different . . .
Polar Bear Club . . . singer's voice is so odd and gravely. I love the sound.

i wouldn't call him underrated but Warren Haynes is a badass with a lot of power and clearity in his voice. he can play the **** out of a guitar too. one of my favorite singer.

a nice folk tune with great vocals, especially bear the end.
