no, dubstep isn't trance, trance will come back this year and you can already hear a bunch of trance elements in new pop music coming out. dubsteps already gotten boring again so they need something new (old) to bring back

after trance they will bring back industrial and eventually grunge

I have found that after getting really into Skrillex, there isn't that much that lives up to it anymore. It's sad, 'cause I do LOVE Dubstep, but I'm a sucker for quality production.

With Skrillex I find that it's not necessarily the quality that is what people like, but rather his style. He is quite different than most others. Have you checked out the artists with Monstercat Media? There are 20 artists currently. Porter Robinson is also pretty good, and Blackmill Music is nice if you like the "liquid" style Dubstep.

Also, I found that after listening to Dubstep specifically for a while, I've come to like Electro, Hardstyle, DnB, and Drumstyle more. Still not a fan of House and Trance though.

Dubstep really is something that grows on you. I hated it all at first, and still mostly only like the agressive stuff, but it just took a few things closer to my harsher rock or my odd remixed game music to start me.

Such as

and

And everything else by Mizuki's Last Chance.

Tim Ismag has really caught my attention lately with some of his bangers.

Same goes for Eptic; make sure to turn this tune all the way up

Video doesn't do justice without massive subs.
