Nah, I kid. I like "djenty" stuff. Especially the instrumentals, like Animals as leaders. Even a lot of Devin Townsend's work has captured that chuggy sound. Of course, Devin just plays whatever he feels like playing, so he doesn't really fall into a genre, per se.

Try Erra. Dunno if they're a "djent band" or just incorporate it but I DO know they're awesome.

i would say try out AYREON but all his stuff is prog rock prog metal. but you get tons different singers and musical people. sucks he will not play any live events.

Kind of a mix, this song is mostly clean vocals with some heavy vocals. They are normally faster and heavier but this is the only song video/song they have on YouTube
