The band "The Sword" comes to mind . If you haven't checked out yet , do it . I highly recommend their latest album - Warp Riders .

and BFMV... serious? hes asking for heavy and fast... this man has slow internet, and we shouldnt waste his time with jokes like this. But I think you redeem yourself with the other two suggestions. Good choice on the Scar Symmetry. sorry, im very opinionated. (and remember, opinion is only that)

as for the orriginal poster... the only thing I would suggest (along with Daliz) is the european power metal and thrash metal. The only thing I would add to his list is "Rage", and it may not be exactly what your looking for. But they are extremely impressive for being a 3 man band.

And thank you OSG, I really dig the Holy grail.

I have been listening to Pantera since Cowboys from Hell and Holy Grail is very different in my opinion.
The Sword- I am not crazy about.
Hammer fall -was ok but instead of the singer being to harsh it was the opposite. But i may try a different album out next time i am in HMV.
Stradivarious-To melodic for me
Scar Symmetry- I was like Oh yeah this is.........oh nevermind. The music was great and the one singer is good but the other(growler)guy is not for me.It's the same way i feel about "Abandon all ships".
I am also liking "Dragonforce".Blazing leads ,insane drummer and a singer that sounds like he is right out of 1985.
I did get Holy Grail and i do like it but "My last attack" is the best song on the album.I mentioned "in this moment" before and the more i listen to it the more i like it.Thanks for the replies and keep them comming.

No, I just pulled that comparison out of my ***.

EDIT: Actually in retrospect, comparing them to Pantera in any way is way, way, WAY too generous.

I really see absolutely nothing in common between Pantera and Holy Grail. Holy Grail is awesome, but Pantera is...Pantera. It's like comparing Ozzy to Sevendust...just wrong.

It's crazy how peoples taste in metal are so different. I personally feel the other 2 bands I posted are way better than Holy Grail yet everyone here digs Holy Grail haha. I posted them on another forum and I got the same exact response. It's cool though as long as people find new music they like and I can supply it I'm happy about it!
