Heavy and Fast with a good singer

I am an old school metal fan and i am looking for bands that are heavy and/or fast but have good singers.I listen to alot of newer bands ie.(In Flames,Killswitch Engage) and the music is amazing but then the "singer" comes in and it sounds like old school death metal. The faster and/or heavier the better as long as the singer sings.
I don't have high speed internet so i can't troll for stuff. Please give me your recommendations that fit this criteria. Thanks

I agree with you- so many bands with amazing musicians but the vocalists all sound like they gargle Drano.

I recently discovered Charred Walls of the Damned. Basically it's the members of the band Death along with Tim 'Ripper' Owens who sang for Priest when Halford left for awhile.

I'll probably think of more later but this one came to mind.

I don't know if this falls into the category but I'm HUGE into a type of metal called "Djent." It's fast, the guitar tones are very metallic, and the singers do much more singing than screaming.

This band will melt your face. It's a new band but they play a mic between early 90's metal with 2000+ riffs. They freaking slay.

Thanks for the replies guys and keep them coming but there is no need to post videos because it would take me hours to download a 3 minute video.

not really some what heavy and fast has more mid to early 90's metal to it.
YouTube - Avantasia - Dying For An Angel

now heavy and fast edguy stuff more your style
YouTube - EDGUY - Ministry Of Saints
YouTube - Edguy - All the Clowns

Older Edguy would fit this criteria, the newer stuff is a bit softer IMO.

Check out some other european power metal bands too: Helloween, Gamma Ray, Masterplan, Wuthering Heights, Rhapsody, Stratovarius, Blind Guardian, Hammerfall..
