Oh, new favorite for me!

The Protomen.
Most of the songs are not made to be listened to on their own. They combine sounds everywhere from Pink Floyd to... maybe Journey, with a little mellow Johnny Cash sound tossed in, so their current albums create the first two parts of an epic, emotionally-charged rock opera.

About Megaman.

'Oddest' band I listen to eh? Off the top of my head I would have to say Modest Mouse. Their music isn't all that odd... but their music videos are strange to say in the least.

For example:

Edit:

I take that back. Bloodhound Gang all the way.

The oddest I've come accross in many senses of that word. But I'm sure I can improve on that in time

Its... metal, but not

+1 for Ziltoid/Devin Townsend, Gwar and King Diamond (I don't find them odd, just good)

To be honest, i think the weirdest band i listen to is Jamiroquai considering the rest of my music tastes.

moderately to extremely heavy metal. Jamiroquai.

worlds o' difference.

I forgot about Strapping Young Lad, got a chance to see them live and man they don't disappoint. It's a shame they are no longer together. Devin Townsend is what made them odd, but a good odd!
