I really love this one, but itīs pretty impossible to translate so the feeling gets through, so try to bear with me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x876K46N1DA

I think I was about six when my father asked me: Do you already drink?
Right, I was six when father asked if I already drink.
And what can you say against, a man who teaches you everything, so I watch how he stares eyes glazing asking if I already drink.

While we play hide and seek, father counts to hundred with a loud voice.
playing hide and seek, father counts to hundred loudly, but when we get two thousand, its time for little boys to go to bed
So I watch behind the curtain how he lays on table loudly.

When mother left we said - us guys will get by- when mother went a way

Over the porridge butter glimmers- only a while
Over the porridge butter glimmers- only a while
But this morning the butter never melts - during the night the angels have taken father - so says the nice man at the hospital and sits by me- only a while

Found a way to rid myself clean of pain
And the fever that's been haunting me
Has gone away

Looking through my window
I seem to recognize
All the people passing by
But I am alone
And far from home
And nobody knows me

Never heard me say goodbye
Never shall I speak to anyone again
All days are in darkness
And I'm biding my time
Once I am sure of my task I will rise again

In the corner beside my window
There hangs a lonely photograph
There is no reason
I'd never notice
A memory that could hold me back

There is a wound that's always bleeding
There is a road I'm always walking
And I know you'll never return to this place

Gone through days without talking
There is a comfort in silence
So used to losing all ambition
Struggling to maintain what's left

Once undone, there is only smoke
Burning in my eyes to blind
To cover up what really happened
Force the darkness unto me

When I'm needing a friend I'll remember the wind
And my life here with the breezes of sorrow
I'll be leaving him soon 'cause I've got to make room
For the lonely that will find him tomorrow
On a black stormy night in your bosom I'll cling
And I'll know I've found love and the last song we'll sing

Cry for me, sigh for me, sad breezes flow
Stay for me, play for me, the song my friends will know
My lonely wind must blow

Kansas
Lonely Wind

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical,
Liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media,
which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Do we find the cost of freedom
Buried in the ground
Mother Earth will swallow you
Lay your body down

I don't remember - were we wild & young?
All that's faded into memory
I feel like somebody I don't know
Are we really who we used to be?
Am I really who I was?

We were once so close to heaven
Peter came out & gave us medals
Declaring us the nicest of the damned

My favorites come from Jamie's Elsewhere:

What did I learn from fighting the fires with matches and gasoline?

So let's pretend that we're giants among common men, cuz we've never been taller than our demons within

Like lieutenant Dan I'm rolling,
-Dip by Danny Brown

My days are best when the sunset gets itself
Behind, that little lady sitting on the passenger
side, It's much less picturesque without her catching,
the light
The horizon tries but it's just not as kind on the eyes
As Arabella
-Arabella by the arctic monkeys.

I think this one is fitting
VolBeats still counting

Counting all the *******s in the room
Well I'm definitely not alone, well I'm not alone
You're a liar, you're a cheater, you're a fool
Well that's just like me yoohoo and I know you too
Mr. Perfect don't exist my little friend
And I tell you it again, and I do it again
Counting all the *******s in the room, well I'm
Definitely not alone, well I'm not alone

Look deep into yourself before you blame all others
For betrayal, for betrayal
I promise, so easy to say, and easy you failed,
And you do it again

Well the music seems do cover
And all the liquid through the colours
Well I turn my back and
Go for all the better things in order

Well maybe you think your lie is safe
But I read you like a letter, yeah like a letter
Your charm do not evens the pain
It fills me with rage, and you do it again

Well the music seems do cover
And all the liquid through the colours
Well I turn my back and
Go for all the better things in order

Well the music seems do cover
And all the liquid do the colours
Well I turn my back and
Go for all the better things in order

And a gangster keeps on telling
That he got a song that matters
So I flip a coin towards him
Thank you very much for listening
