That's how the Periphery concert that I went to last month was. I was told earplugs help with that.

This reminds me, I still need to buy tickets for when Gojira and TesseracT come next month...

had same thing happen to me this for local show at place in west melbourne. place was not set up to handle loud heavy metal style music. all distorted and fact ac was not working did not help too. also fact parking lot had so many huge pot whole was not good sign to see. place used to be one best place to go. now its looks run down.

What happens when you take Gojira, and then add Devin Townsend and Meshuggah? You get this:

I know this song is technically pretty old, but I hadn't heard until pretty recently.

New Sikth song came out recently. As much as I love Sikth, I'm really not a huge fan of this song. Instrumentally it's awesome, but the vocals are awkward.

Nothing has made me want to go to canada more than this
These guys headlined the first metal show I ever went to. Small campus bar in Guelph with Protest and 4 other local bands. I actually picked up my ticket from the house of the third band (who were the ones organizing the whole show). Their bassist landed on top of me in the mosh pit to Protest lol

Also going to recommend giving Annihilator a try. My favourite band and they've been around for a LONG time.

Haha, I take a lot of pride in my musical taste, so I appreciate that.

So have any of you guys heard the new Sikth album? I'll admit, after the singles they dropped I wasn't expecting much. But the more I listen to it, the more I like it. I think this one is my favorite.

I'll also throw some NOK NOVUM into the mix. Great stuff here.

Bunch of new stuff came out in the last couple weeks, and it's pretty amazing.

New Toothgrinder, pretty different from their previous work, and while I love their old stuff this is next level good

New Architects song. I'll admit that this is the first song form them that I've listened to. It's pretty great though

And finally the new Veil of Maya song. This one is mindblowingly good.
