APX AGRO summer shell?

What's the difference between normal shell and summer shell?

the difference is winter shell and summer shell. summer should be more brittle since the warmer paintballs get the harder and more rubbery the shell gets. winter balls have a harder shell to keep them from getting too brittle. i have seen people try to use up their winter balls in the summer and you dont want to be on the receiving end of those they hurt.

i spoke to an APX rep a couple weeks ago regarding this; they confirmed, it has a thinner shell

we need someone to do a review of the new shell to see if it is just as brittle as the FYRE. i did a test with the FYRE and BEAST a long time ago and really like the FYRE. more comparable to a tournament grade for a lot less. curious to see how well the AGO stacks up against those.

I'll see how it performs up at Davis or at Sunol.

Agro is the best of all three, IMO. A guy that used to run Costco's encapsulating factory "paintball division" told me it was the same machines that made Jumbo. They're in Korea and made brittle because Korea is cold. That would make sense as the Fyre broke like crazy in 65 degree weather during a tourney. So I prefer agro because the shell is a little more tough by virtue of that fact its cheaper.

My fyre didn't seem that brittle at all. It was good paint for the price.

Korea is cold like Massachusetts in the Winter months and hot like Florida in the Summer months... I was Stationed in Korea for a year (1995-1996) at one point in my Military Career ...

Some of the best paint I ever saw was CORE and it was from S. Korea.
