Sad thing is tech's are few and far between yet we get treated like crap sometimes :/

| Yes, that is a joke ----> | Wow, you suck. My friend's brother's uncle's daughter's boyfriend's monkey can fix it in 3 minutes. Ok jokes aside. This is the flyer a local paintball shop puts up everytime they have a private game. Made me laugh the first time I read it. Last edited by ta2maki; 10-13-2010 at 01:54 AM. |

Though to be 100% honest with all this. If you do something dumb with your gun, if you happen to tip the tech, even a soda or something, you will most likely get a smile ear to ear. Always made my day.

I have never been a tech at a field, but I have purchased several markers for peanuts that were non-functional just because they had NEVER been cleaned, and were then thrown in the closet to be forgotten for who knows how long. So far, I haven't needed any assistance from a professional tech. Not into electronic markers though, either. |

...or people that bring you another 'smiths work to straighten out. Or worse, take YOUR work to another smith to have him crtique it. ..or people that use "Just". "Oh, that's easy- *just* chuck it up in the mill and cut that there, and that there, and shorten everything else, and then time it.." blah blah blah. Then YOU do it, bunkie. Or people that change their mind on the color they wanted their gun anodized after it's on the way. |

I agree. I haven't been a gun tech for long (maybe 6 months) and the only thing I've gotten was people not cleaning their guns. I mean, I found paint shells in the RAM on an Etek. And you wonder why it's leaking?

Edit: for the record, I had several of the strips printed and attached to me various gear I had around the shop. Gave me a smile when a customer got pissed about something they caused.
