All nail Drum!
absolutely as above: get a good thermal dual pane mask. Nothing less. Can't hit what you can't see, right?

Welcome to the sport! And the forum! Paintball is an addiction, and MCB is something of a cross between a neighborhood bake sale and group therapy.
When you're looking to buy your own equipment, try everything on the shelf. Even if you're not going to buy at a particular place, most stores will let you fondle the gear to see what feels good in your hands.
The beauty of the Automag is that when you get it set up just how you want it, you discover that you have enough leftover parts to build 2 loaners.

Welcome. Finnally another person in/around my age bracket . A mask is the first piece of equipment you should purchase before anything. Depending how often you are going to play, determines what you should spend. If it's only a few times a yr,nothing wrong with a Tippmann. The A5 just got better too, lots of improvements on it.
Alot of people here have a business and sell gear made to your spec and not someone elses.
We make paint grenades here.
We have machinest and anodizers here.
Combat gear Makers.
You name it,it's probably here. Plus all the information and mature grown up conversation you can get in paintball.
Oh Yea if you need Markers,we have those too, just name your poison.
