09 Eclipse knee pads, and they work great.

This is coming from a pretty (stupidly) aggressive player, with a meniscus or PCL tear, among other problems. I even wear mine for jujitsu and wrestling, because they're better than anything Adidas makes.

im a big guy and i have not found and paintball specific pads that will fit me right. i had some xxl proto pads and they just didnt cut it.

Too small? I'm worried about that. It's one of the reasons I lament the loss of really "full-line" paintball stores in my area. (At least I haven't seen one since National Paintball Supply went away.) I'd like to be able to try on such a thing. It's a PITA over the internet. I suppose I'll just order the largest size and put up with it being a little tight.

Best (and cheap) knee pads I've ever used were $10 volleyball kneepads from walmart.

i use icon knee and shin guards, they are made for motor cycle riders to wear under jeans or any other pants. but they work great, because i like to slide and drop down hard. so they have plenty of padding and stand up to the abuse. i also use them for softball games, i have bad knees and at the end i dont feel a thing on them.

Try to find a pair of Empire slider pants...best piece of equipment I own other than my mask. Extremely comfortable, built in knee, hip, side, butt and crotch pads. All you need. I wear mine under a pair of tiger stripe BDU pants made by Propper.

If you get the Dye ones, make sure to get the right size! They only have one adjustment strap and if you get too large a size they'll fall down. This is what happened to me...

I actually like the Eclipse ones more, they have two straps and I haven't had a problem with them moving.
