I bought a couple of these BDU pants recently for $15 each and they're great...the larger belt loops are a nice touch...

Military-Style Bdu Pants, Military Surplus, Brand Not Specified at Sportsman's Guide

So you could get 4 sets of these and still have $20 left over for a nice pair of baseball sliding shorts with soft sided cup.

I use my retired jeans, when a jean butt pocket starts to rip it becomes a paintball pant, I keep spares of too beat up for regular use jeans around so i can patch up the better pair and keep it operating.

BDU's are okay and i have a decent surplus store near me, but I dont like to fit in with guys that wish they were in the military.

I dont mind the JT team pants, they are reasonably simple in design, if i could find a nice pair in my size for a good price id take it, but its not worth the trouble of looking, for me.

PBNation is to the point where they need a classified sub forum for each individual piece of paint ball gear "drop forwards, ASA's, Rails, Pants, Jerseys, Masks and parts, Headbands and Sandanas, Electronic guns <sort by brand> Mechanical guns <Sort by blowback or not blowback>

Just too much stuff flowing through there, really hard to look, even as a supporting member with search.

If you want some ghetto kneepads for some ratty jeans...just cover the knees with black duct tape. Looks nice and does okay for protection. While you're at it...why not sandblast your pants? =3

You could use black or any color duct tape with sponges or something underneeth it for knee pads on jeans. I might do that.

yeah i play xball so im not into the woodsball scene but i think im either getting proto's,airtimes or Hybrids.

edit-Its not that bad to search on PbN but i agree they do need to make some seperate sections ecspecially for electronic markers.btw im an ASM on PbN so i can search whenever i want with all the other benifits of being an asm

I suppose you could do that... =) If you want to squish every time you kneel...hehe. That could have some fun jokes with it!

The JT team pants pads arent that thick or soft.

I am a "I pay for search" member on pbnation also, but it is still a project to find something good.

Sponges dont make squish noises, any piece of foam taped to jeans would work, il prolly do that just to look even more newbie when i hit the field.
