I should have kept my doc capless harness.

It was a bit large though. Capless is the way to go, thats for sure.
Actually Cunha I think that is yours...

So far I am liking my mafia, truth be told I am wearing it right now getting used to it. It is somewhat comfy but rigid, the build is very strong and can be worn reverse (tubes between you and the outside of the belt) Neat design but as before pretty stiff. Someday when I win the lottery and have a lucky day I will buy a docs capless.

Before I got this belt I was using a modded stealth belt from Ebay. The ones on ebay hold three pods but if you remove the stitching you can reconstruct it to hold 11 10 round tubes. I left the tops unswen so I could insert tubes into the top of the harness then pour in my paint to a few tubes at a time and pull them down an inch to allow the elastic to colse the top of the tubes. In my year and a half of using it I never lost a tube or even a ball out of the top.

I have a Doc's capless chest harness as well.

It's a bit large on me, but I still like it. One problem I have with it is that a couple of the covers for the tubes have stretched out a bit and the elastic isn't enough to hold full tubes in those slots if I'm running around.

I've considered washing it to see if they will shrink back to the proper size, but I'm concerned that that might have an adverse affect on the elastic parts.

I have one of Doc's "fanny pack" style harnesses. It's not capless - I tried one and found that I kept dropping the tubes when pulling them out which, of course, caused the paint to roll right out. The fanny pack one works well for me and I have speedcaps, so opening tubes isn't an issue for me. The loops are small enough that they hold firm when running, diving or rolling (not that I do much of any of those ) but large enough that the tubes slide back in very easily. My only complaint is the 12 gram loops on the belt. There's nothing "wrong" with them, but I'm a lefty and they're on the left-hand side, so I either need to swap my Phantom to the other hand or reach around with my right hand to pull the 12ies out. Then again, I usually play with a 3.5 or 4 oz. tank, so this isn't an issue. If I were to play some kind of a stock class tourney and had to use 12-grams, I'd probably just get a wrist holder or use a few of the tube holders on the back for 12-grams.

The Ronin harness is basically a clone of Doc's harness (probably the reason he stopped making them), but I don't know how exact a clone it is. For example, I don't know if the tube loops are sized exactly the same, so they may be too tight or too loose. Given my experience with the fit & finish on other Ronin products, I'd say they're probably fine, but haven't actually used one, so take that with a grain of salt. They're reasonably cheap ($20-ish on eBay), so even if you don't like it, it's not a huge investment.

I enjoy my ronin sc harness. It fits me well and the straps make it nice and adjustable. The only issue I have with it is that I've worn out some of the loops. The elastic seems to good but don't leave any tubes or 12 grams in the harness when you're not using it or else the elastic stretches too much.

I didnt know Doc stopped making his capless harness, and I didnt know ronin started making one.

Great news. Id recommend a ronin over a doc harness any day, you can get ronins (even when doc made his it was a gamble). Then again I haven't used one yet. Hopefully they aren't so large.

Thats pretty funny Bacci. I guess there are like, 2 doc harnesses around in the world then?

The "pbmafia" harness looks allright, and so does the dump pouch, but the front page of that site is enough to steer me clear of them.
