The other alternative would be to try a JT Elite mask...just make sure you get thermal lenses.

anything with a good quality thermal lense is a good choice. Go with what you like the styling and pricing of. I bring several masks with me to the field, i have owned a lot of masks and besides some of my big headedness causing comfort issues i have been impressed with all my "higher end" masks.

I realy like the proflex masks, but JT lenses are a paing to get the lense out of until the frames are good and broken in, as well as your fingertips. i also realy like Grillz they are very comfy, and lense removal is easy, the profilers are the same way.

I just try to replace the lenses ofter, like once a year and as long as i stick with getting new lenses regularly, i never have a fog issue. Usualy sweat is the issue, but i cnahge masks a lot.

One more quick note on the Thermal lenses: Do NOT freely run water on them or submerge them. You might get lucky for a while when they are new, but often the inner and outer lenses will start to separate, and water can get between them. If this happens, you will suffer from major fogging issues that you can't fix.

what i tell people who want to get into the sport or hobby, never ever cheap out on a mask, you cant see, you cant play. if you can see, hell you can play with beat up 98 shooting zap or monster balls and still have a good time.

if i recommended one brand of masks to anyone dye i4s if you have a smaller or narrow head, and dye i3s if youre larger. jt flex 7s are really really comfortable as well. but imo dye masks are the best.

DONT CHEAP OUT ON A MASK, CANT SEE = CANT PLAY

really? I've done this for years on my I4s, and I'm still using the original HD lenses. one of the many reasons why I consistently recommend their mask system above any others... the I4 lens system is the greatest one available in the game.

I've had the lens separate after a days play in rain. Maybe it was just bad luck for me. Considering my mask/lens was used to begin with.

i have had some get water inbetween the lenses when cleaning them in the sink under water. they were newer jt's. a wet wash cloth rubbed on the outside works fine.

Bullshift, sounds like you got sold a dead lens with your used mask. Honestly though, the I4 lens can withstand more use and abuse than any other lens system I've used in 13 years (including a number of JTs, Vforces, Dye/Protos).

probably save some time doing that yup. I've gone swimming in my full gear and no problem with the mask, so the showers no sweat
