| Advice for a palmer noob I bought this gun off MrBig a few months ago. I'm having a lot of fun with it but I think it could benefit from a bit of modernization and a tune up. I'd like to send it in to palmers, but not having dealt with them before I have a couple questions that I was hoping you guys could help me out with. 1) I'm in Canada, is getting it there and back across the border going to be a problem? 2) What should I have done to it? Right now I can only think of: -RVA and Fast changer -Performance tune If you had any other suggestions though I'd love to hear them Thank you for your time |

shipping a marker over the border is no big deal, just call it a "Pneumatic Paintball Launcher" do not ever put the word "gun" anywhere on the package. "2) What should I have done to it? Right now I can only think of: -RVA and Fast changer -Performance tune " add nickel or Zinc plating depending on if you want silver or black finish.

| Endearingly quirky | I've always used the term 'pneumatic marking equipment' when shipping to Canada. Don't give them any excuses.

| Seasoned Member | depending where you live, take it to your local Canada Custom office and fill out a temporary exportation form, sent a photo copy of that form along with your gun down to Palmer and simply ask Lori to tape it to the outside of the box. so when they send you back the marker Canada Customs will not charge you any additional fee. |

Does anyone have a picture of a zinc plated gun? Who's Lori? Like I said, I've never dealt with PPS before. | |

| MCB Member | The original finish is optimal but I believe it may need to be refinished after the performance tune, call PPS and ask regarding that. Zinc should be comparably durable to the original brass black you have on that gun <which is the best finish possible> I think your selection is essentially perfect. Performance tune, fasst changer and RVA. |

| I would think that the nickel finish would be the most durable one, but ti really is mostly a cosmetic thing. You might want to add wedgits and a quick strip bolt to your list. The problem that you might find is that once you start adding up the cost of all the upgrades that you'd like to have done, you might as well have them build you a whole new gun... |

| You guys are a obviously suckers for a sexy voice that can talk knowledgably about paintball ... I'm quite taken with the nickel finish on Russ' NHT but it's probably not the best choice for woodsball since I'm sure it'll glow like a flare in the dark.
