Are you asking what air source should be used for a stock class marker? your post is a little vague. If that is what your asking, the only air source accepted in stock class rules is 12 gram CO2 cartridges.

i used to play in tournies that had limit on amount of paint and C02 , 2 Co2 per player a game , 3 tubes of paint per person/game. pump pistols only as at the time thats all there were. paint and C02 were handed out to each player at the start of each game.

Glen Palmer invented Stock Class Paintball. Well, indirectly of course.

In the original SC rules, are you allowed to rock a nasty?

WHY does everyone have to try and make a "stock class" nothing more than a title for "shoot what cha brung"???

The Nelspot 007 is the gun that started the game. Period. The rules should simply be that you can take a BONE STOCK gun with the same internal workings and ball caliber of a 007 out of the box, plug the mag tube so the balls don't roll forward of the chamber, and use an appropriate diameter cigar tube for a removable magazine. The only other acceptable mods are a speed wheel on the CO2 compression screw and a home made slide for cocking (no manufactured slides).

That's it. You want a stock class? That's as stock as it gets. I played for years with exactly that setup, through regional tournaments and one national tournament, and even took out "Termite" in a one-on-one match with him having the top-of-the-line semi-auto of the day. Stock should be about STOCK firearms and personal skill. If you want to start modding a weapon to make up for lack of skill, move up to another class!

Just my grumpy old fart 2 cents worth... LOL
