Mobius is right. Sandridge for simplicity

I would say an 05 angel speed is a great great buy.

Any viking with eyes, they arent that heavy and they are built 100 times better than any other gun, ultra efficient and precision.

Really, most of the electros out there are pretty effing good. Intimidators, angels, dm4's - 5s whatever..they are all pretty good.

I am partial against DP fusions but im sure they shoot great.

Cunha why are you impartial against the DP fusions? Just wondering. I am tyring to get as much input as I can. As I thought so much experience is here it is why this place is so great.

Thanks to all who have replied.

I would say stay away for the fusion, there not the type of guns i like. Open bolt and such. Proto matrix rail with the metal back cap and metal trigger, is almost as good as a pm7 thats only 450 for the proto matrix rail.

Personally I would go with a cyborg. They have great efficiency (almost a case of a 68/45), are fast, light, consistent and have very little kick. You can find a nice 04/05 model for around 400 or an 06 for 600.

It should be fairly obvious from all the widely varying opinions that there's no one really "BEST" marker in each price range other than what fits you and your style the best. A huge part of how much you'll enjoy your new Emarker is about how it fits you and your usual manner of holding the gun and the feel of the trigger. I'd say that there's no real losers in the $200 to $500 mid range price at all. But there are likely some that you'll prefer the feel of more than some others.

I had a chance to handle the Promaster, Mini, PMR and Epiphany. I chose a used Promaster largely for the fit and feel and secondly for the price I managed on a used one. For MY OWN tastes if money was no object other than staying in the mid price range I'd be loosing sleep at nights trying to decide between the Promaster that I finally got and a Mini. I didn't like the plasticy feel of the PMR. I was also looking seriously at the ANS Razor Ion just because it didn't use a plastic outer cover. But the need to still strip the guts out through the bottom put me off. I like to be able to strip out the barrel and connected bolt bore for cleaning if needed and do it quickly.

But if you like the looks and feel of the Ion or PMR then it's the gun for you. As far as pushing paint goes they all come with all the modes (or at least I think the Ion does) and will all shoot boxes of paint out at a horrendous rate with no chopping thanks to the eyes and good hoppers.

I'm really curious about your feelings on Fusions. I keep hearing from people that they are the best thing since sliced bread. I'd love to hear the other side of the coin. (Not like I'm getting one any time soon, but I'm really REALLY curious now)

Yes Cunha, I too am curious as to why you'd be against them? Have you ever tried one?

I concur! Emags are dependable and pretty darn fast and accurate. It will all come down to your style of play, but an XModded Emag will keep up with most if not all of today's guns.

On a side note, I have heard good things about DMs too and they seem to be quick and quiet, but I will stick with my 'Mags!!

Haha. Sorry guys, kill me right now.

FEP quests are the guns I have a distaste for, not DP fusions.

Sorry

Id still go with a viking of any kind depending on how much you want to spend, or an 05 speed.
