Not sure if srs. Have you ever attended a Viper scenario? They utilize props, role playing, and NPC's and are loads of fun.

I doubt that I have I love scenarios I've just learned to not really participate in the role playing aspect of it.

any marker can be used.
When we started playing in the woods in 1992 thats how we all played. We would put our money together and buy a case of paint. Back then it was closer to $100 a case and I believe had 2500 balls in the case. We split that up equally just like you stated. If we got hit during game play we were done until 1 person was left, no respawn. Everyone of use used a different type/brand of marker and yes their we're a few early tippman's used. We didn't know this was real-sim.

To each their own. Which I guess is a theme of this thread.

That said, I really enjoy the concept of a story-lined game. I tend to prefer to be a player over an RPer, but I'll certainly interact with the RPers and NPC's of the game, and progress the story. If I went solely to shoot people, I'd be on a tourney team.

Don't get me wrong I focus on accomplishing the missions. I just don't like the idea of wearing a costume and or having some fake accent or whatever. Its not my thing and even if I don't. I have a harsbtime interacting with npcs and role players because it makes me feel awkward. So I do the missions that I can so long as its not those things

I feel like I need to clarify.

With role-play I meant nothing like costumes or dice or fake accents.

I am talking about the guy with only 30 rounds playing a scouting/flanking role instead of a rifleman role. Someone with 300 rounds is a "heavy gunner" and more valuable to stay further back and give cover fire.

I'm trying to coin a new word here to make it into the mainstream like milsim is a recognized sub-group. And yes it is a misnomer and a meme and it's spelled correctly.

This format is capped at around 20 players. It is a format for outlaw woodsball.

I'm producing a paintball reality show based on that concept. If you're living on Vancouver Island and you're interested, contact me.

So how is it not just "limited-paint" ? Or more correctly, "team limited-paint" ?
