Let's talk socks!
 

I have a render running so I have a few minutes to kill... lets talk about foot-underwear!

I play in cleats and have been using hiking socks to prevent my heels/toes from getting blisters. Now, while these are very thick, they're also very hot and have taken on the texture of burlap with multiple washes. Has anyone used a superior product? I mainly don't want open, weeping sores every time I play. :)

2 pair
one standard white tube sock
one breathing material athletic sock

could do soft sock inside your hiking sock too

and gel pads....

I use those brand-name toe socks... But mostly because I blister the worst between my toes.

Wool kilt socks. Then again I play in Nikes and jeans, so I don't know if that counts. But I find them more comfy than my regular work socks and soccer socks.

I've been using my Red Wing (boots) branded socks all year. Great so far. If they're good enough for work, they're good enough for play! And I wear cleats, not boots.
