Hand pump for a 13/3000

Does anybody know if the 3000 PSI Benjamin hand pump by Crosman is practical for filling a 13/3000?

yep had one for the longest time to fill my 13/3000 psi. took about 10 mins to fill, but i had mine connected to the compressor also with an input of like 30 psi.

Did you ever fill one without the compressor. How many pumps/how long would it take to do so?

i have, it took about 20 mins. the first 10 or so pumps are just to build up the pressure before you actually start filling the tank. with the compressor it was cut in half.

takes me about 400 pumps to fill a 22 ci tank

Which model are you using, and how long does 400 pumps take?

By my estimation it would take 236 pumps to fill a 13/3000 then

Why not a higher input, of 120psi? Since my 3000psi SCUBA tank doesn't get my tanks all the way to 3000, this might be a nice way to top them off.

those hand pumps are not meant to have air input from a compressor, using 120 psi you would blow all the seals in the hand pump. 30 psi is the highest i ever went and it had a slight leak when pushing down on the pump (filling the tank)

i have the one that pumps up to 3.3 psi

it takes me about 3 or 4 min to do about 50 pumps. after 50 pumps i take a break to let the pump cool down and rest a little before i do not next 50.

I was thinking on getting my hands on one of these

Does your pump require more force the closer the tank gets to getting full?
