Found this the other day, and couldn't resist purchasing one for that price to replace my current TPX setup. Anyone familiar with it? Is there any reason why I should waste $35+ a piece on a MOLLE TPX holster when this exists for $10? Is there anyone that still sells these?

My guess is that if you're looking at real steel holsters, they're not going to be big enough for a TPX.

if it fits - great - it might not mass produced generic real steel holsters are generally a bit slim for paintball markers to fit in - I have no experience with that specific one you linked (at least that I can recall) but you certainly will need to check it when you get it for fit, feel, and quality. why pay $35 - well few reasons as mentioned before - fit, feel, quality are important if it was made by a custom tailor - labor costs are higher, material costs may be based on quality of material. Honestly in the grand scheme of things - $35 for a GOOD holster is not much to pay at all - some of my real steel reside in custom leather that cost me closer to $85 to $135 for those rigs and to me it was worth every cent. /shrug |

Looks good. Hope it fits. I'm spending the extra cash on a MOLLE holster for my new TPX because I want it to sit a certain way. WTFPB is taking care of that for me. It'll cost a pretty penny but I don't care to pay for exactly what I want. Stich, what holster did you go with? I would like to see your rig!

rofl I would have to dig a bit since my 2 rigs I have not used in awhile since I dont work at a gunstore anymore lol one was a shoulder rig for my .45 colt - molded leather with 2 mag holder on the opposite side. was a bianchi rig cant remember the modelname tho Other one was combo - a race rig belt with 8 mag mounts and both a race fast draw hip and a bianchi pancake that was retro-fitted to work with it (2 snaps and straps) that was the pricier one =P much <3 for Bianchi leather tho =) |

Crimson D - Yup! Mine's being made. Had to ask for a special option because I tend to take falls like a YouTube fail compilation video when playing. Last time I was able to smash all my tubes and the paint inside them. I want to make sure the marker is more or less together after one of those. I'm working with a DYE tactical rig now mixing my stock class and pistol. So far WTFPB has been very nice and let me change a few things on their stock class shingles so it will fit my rig. Stitch - We wanna see anyway! Time is of no consequence... What paint do you guys use in the Tpx?
