Try not to let the other team surround you. I still make that mistake and we always lose if they get the offensive advantage. Be aggressive and push them back so you have the field to use to your advantage

if you are playing behind bunkers and have the room, dont stick your head up in the same spot every time, move a couple feet then pop up or go from side of bunker to top , move over a little then back to side. that way they cant just aim for same spot all the time and get zero'd in

If you play with your friends, which I do. I can tell how they play and I assume what they are gonna do. I know certain people will run up and be aggressive so I watch and go after them first. Other friends stay at the back and camp and when I move they shoot, giving away their position.

Play more! I started a while back and have learnt almost everything from playing, even though I still suck, I am better than when I first started.

Well its a great solid marker. Another thing is not to be afraid of getting hit, Im 19 and my friends still play one bunker the whole game because they dont want to get hit, but they also dont have fun. Your playing paintball, what do you expect!

Practice snap shooting - Popping out quickly, take a shot and get back behind cover before you even see your ball hit it's target.

Best way to practice this is to setup a bunch of targets, such as, pie tins (you can hear whether you hit it or not), bottles of water hanging on ropes, etc. Get used to shooting your gun and building the muscle memory until it's natural. After a while you will lessen the time you need to zero in on your target. Most important thing is to have fun though.
